Slides Tab - (Displayed for all 3 Project Types)

After entering Presentation Details on the Details Tab you are now ready to add slides to your project.  You may either click the Next Step button (located at the bottom in the Presio Button Bar) OR click the Slides Tab.  This tab allows you to import Presentation Slides - which include PowerPoint files, images or screenshots.  The slides you add here will be the slides you based your recorded narration on OR synchronize with existing media files (depending on your Project Type).

AddingSlidesb1Note: Slides added on the Slides tab are conceptually different than the slides or images synched when working on the Record and/or Synch tabs.  Think of the slides added on the Slides tab as "source" materials you would like to narrate or incorporate with audio/video. Whereas slides synched on Record and/or Synch tabs are what will ultimately be displayed to your end-viewer on a published rich-media presentation.  Source slides may or may not be incorporated into the final presentation - it depends on whether or not they are synched as part of the Record/Synch Tab functionality.

AddingSlidesb25Note: Slide Title information appears in several places within Presio as well as in a published presentation.  It's a best practice to ensure each slide has a meaningful title.  When adding a PowerPoint presentation on the Slides Tab, Presio will attempt to read the PowerPoint Title object to determine an appropriate text title, but depending on the template used, the Title object may not be available.  So, the Edit Slide window provides an easy way to edit slide titles.
