Throughout this user guide and within Presio, the terms "project" and "presentation" are used. The following section explains these terms and their usage within Help:

Projects

A project, is a special file created by Presio that acts as a container for all your media assets and data that you wish to include into your final presentation. A project file may include the following types of files and information:

Imported or captured audio or video clips

Imported or captured images

Presentation data such as presentation title, speaker, summary, etc

Presentation settings such as template, media quality, output format

Other imported files such as speaker photos and logos

A saved project file in Presio has an .Presio file extension. By saving your projects, you can later open a project file and begin editing it in Presio from where you last saved.

There are 3 Project Types within Presio:

1. Record audio with slides

2. Record video with slides

3. Synchronize media with slides

Presentation

A presentation is the final project that you publish to your local computer, to iPresent Online, to a corporate intranet site, to a Web site, or to a shared network location to be viewed by others. The presentation can then be opened and viewed in a Web browser. A published presentation contains any slides, images, video, audio, and other presentation data that is included in a project file.

When you publish a presentation, a new set of HTML, image, and media files are generated by Presio. A published presentation is simply a web ready version of your project. A presentation contains all of graphics, HTML, scripts, audio or video files that are needed for your presentation to play correctly.
