To test your microphone recording levels, you may record a short audio clip and play it back. Click the Record button, and speak into your microphone.  Click Stop when finished.  Finally, Click Play to playback the audio your recorded.  If you do not hear any audio, or the audio levels seem too low, check the Troubleshooting-Audio Issues section for help troubleshooting the problem.
